These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Toffee Tabs Chrome extension (the “Extension”) and the website at https://toffeetabs.com (the “Site”). By installing or using the Extension or accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install the Extension or use the Site.

1. Definitions

  • “Toffee Tabs,” “we,” “us,” “our” means the operator of the Extension and the Site.
  • “You,” “your,” “User” means any person who installs, accesses, or uses the Extension or the Site.
  • “Free Version” means the basic, no‐cost functionality offered in the Extension.
  • “Pro Version” means the paid upgrade to the Extension, offering additional features.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Toffee Tabs grants you a limited, non‐exclusive, non‐transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Extension for your personal or internal business purposes.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension.
  • Sell, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise transfer the Extension.
  • Use the Extension to infringe any third‐party rights or in violation of applicable law.
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices in the Extension.

4. Pro Version Subscriptions & Payments

  1. Purchase: You may upgrade via the “Buy License” flow on the Site.
  2. Payment Processor: All payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store your full payment details.
  3. Refunds: Request within 14 days to sales@toffeetabs.com. At our discretion.
  4. License Key: You will receive a license key by email. Keep it confidential.

5. Extension Updates & Support

We may provide updates, patches, and new releases. We are not obligated to provide support beyond what is published on the Site.

6. User Content

The Extension may enable you to store links, notes, and other content (“User Content”). You retain all rights in your User Content. We do not claim ownership.

7. Disclaimers

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TOFFEE TABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TOFFEE TABS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Toffee Tabs and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Extension or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Extension ceases.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the new version at https://www.toffeetabs.com/terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
